I’ve been making music with these two humans for a couple three years now, and I’m still learning from them. @sistastrings and I will be at the @cafecarpe in several different lineups this week, as part of the six-night Summer Lamplighters Sessions. Come on out and say hi. This Tuesday we’ll have the great Randy Sabien with us- it will be my first appearance in life with a string trio!
This Thursday, August 9th, I’m playing a benefit for Open Doors for Refugees, in Madison, WI. It’s a joyous event: @nickelandrose are opening, and the refugees will make supper. Have you ever had down-home Middle Eastern food? Seriously: Baklava. Hommous. Babaghanoush. Come to this benefit for that alone. Do some good for others AND for yourself. Tell your friends.
