_This collection of instrumental duets captures a moment in the decades-long musical dialogue between Mulvey and Goodrich.  Over the years, their relationship as co-writers, accompanists, and performers has centered on this kind of presence, spontaneity, and good humor.  Plenty of that is on display in this grouping of eight original tunes, two traditional Americana pieces, two Hoagy Carmichael classics, and a Tom Waits melody wrangled onto the banjo.
